ALTUS PARTNERS TEAMS UP WITH SMART WORKS AND SUITED & BOOTED
Posted in Charity Partners on 7 March 2019
Altus Partners is delighted to team up with Smart Works and Suited & Booted.
Smart Works are a national charity that helps vulnerable women with high quality interview clothing and coaching to set them up for interview success. With Smart Works’ support, over one in two get the job, allowing them to reach their potential and start a new chapter in their lives. At the core of Smart Works is its highly successful, two-hour dressing and interview preparation service. A personal styling session ensures that clients look and feel their best, creating a brilliant first impression on their potential employer. A highly skilled volunteer interview coach then works one-to-one with each client in a compassionate and supportive way.
Suited & Booted are a charity that helps vulnerable, unemployed and low-income men into employment by providing interview clothing and interview advice. They help their clients create a positive first impression when seeking employment. The feedback they get from their clients confirms that what they do transforms the lives of the men they help by increasing their self-esteem and self-confidence.
Our partnership with these amazing charities will range from running clothing drives and marathons, through to volunteering in show rooms and offering administrative support.
Kate Stephens, CEO at Smart Works, comments, “Everything we do at Smart Works is made possible through partnerships. We’re delighted to have Altus Partners on board and know that Ed and the whole team will bring their passion and energy to the Smart Works family, as we go on to help even more women in 2019 and beyond.”
Maria Lenn, Founder at Suited & Booted, comments, ‘The Suited & Booted charity is delighted that Ed is fundraising for us, and we wish him the best in the Manchester Marathon. Ed knows how important appearance is at a job interview, and with our help our clients look the part and feel amazing with the self-confidence they need in order to get the job. Ed’s support is so much appreciated. Thank you very much!’.
Any form of support for these amazing charities would be appreciated so check out their pages, spread the word and please consider donating!
Ed Chamberlain adds, “Giving back is at the heart of Altus Partners’ vision. In Smart Works and Suited & Booted we’ve found charity partners that care as deeply about helping women and men in the workplace as we do. We’re thrilled to support them both and look forward to a hugely inspiring collaboration that helps people to move forward with their lives.”
